Tracey graduated in environmental biology from the University of London. She worked for fours years at PJB Publications Ltd, starting off as an editorial assistant on the fortnightly newsletter Agrow – World Crop Protection News. She then moved across to the AgVet Reports department to edit agrochemical and veterinary science reports. Following this, a promotion to Reference Reports Editor found Tracey managing titles including the Clinica Yearbook, Scrip Diary as well as editing pharmaceutical and medical device manuscripts for the Scrip and Clinica Reports departments.

Tracey then accepted a position with Financial Times Healthcare, London, as a publisher within their healthcare management reports team, where she commissioned and managed the authors for 20 different management/healthcare reports a year. This saw Tracey travel to many international conferences, sourcing ‘hot industry topics’ and to meet potential authors.

Before co-founding dolffin, Tracey worked for a short time as the publishing manager for Vision in Business, a London-based conferencing company. In this role, Tracey was responsible for commissioning and managing authors, managing budgets and external resources (freelancers, printers etc.) as well as coordinating marketing campaigns and fliers.

At dolffin, as well as writing and editing, Tracey looks after all the administration – booking in and managing projects, freelancers etc. She edits all of dolffin’s healthcare/pharmaceutical related manuscripts/reports, and writes on such topics as construction (innovative hotels, cruise ships, buildings of architectural significance), airport expansions, hospital management and transportation.
