Speedely was born when parent company dolffin realised that its increasing demand for transcriptions needed a dedicated team to ensure all projects were handled as efficiently as possible. Our name came about as we wanted to promote our fast turnaround to projects – secondly the company is based out of the picturesque Ely in Cambridgeshire, UK. Managing the day-to-day business is Tracey Kifford (tracey.kifford@speedely.com), a founding partner of dolffin, and she is assisted by Georgena Bowdidge (georgena.bowdidge@speedely.com). We look after all of our clients and liaise with our extensive team of transcribers to make sure that the most suitably located and topic-experienced transcriber is commissioned for each project. Our transcribers are highly experienced in many professional fields, including legal/Police, pharmaceuticals/medical, chemical, construction and architecture, and engineering. The transcribing team are predominantly located in the UK, though we have team members in Europe, the US – and in Australia and Thailand whose working day is while we are sleeping – enabling an ever faster turnaround!
